Bonfire Manufacturing is retained in the recruitment of a Site Accountant for a well established growing food production company based near Bradford. This opportunity would suit someone looking for a step up into a Site Accountant role for the first time, or someone looking to be challenged and develops further under the guidance of a highly experienced and knowledgeable site leadership team. Reporting to the Head of Finance, who you will be supporting in the day to day financial processing and wider financial support through all aspects of the business. You will be required to: Cash flow management ? regularly update cash flow for receipts and payments to ensure the business is adequately finance Assist in and eventually lead month end accounts ? stock reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, material reconciliations, board reports and full P&L and balance sheet building from TB. Daily, weekly and monthly payment runs ? ensure suppliers and employees are paid on time Processing payroll for weekly paid staff Any other duties as and when necessary to meet the varying demands of the business and satisfy customers? needs. Preferred Candidate: Experience in an office environment within a FMCG, ideally within food, and preferably fish, is essential, and knowledge of Sage Accounts is highly desirable although training will be provided. Experience of working autonomously particularly in respect of month end and cash flow management. Prior financial accounting is essential and management accounting experience is also preferred Excellent IT skills, experience of working with and building multi spreadsheet reports is essential An ideal opportunity for someone at the end of their ACCA/CIMA studies and looking to gain relevant experience.
