Category Development Manager – Global Blue Chip

Location: Berkshire

Salary: £40-£50k plus highly competitive benefits package and company car scheme (salary based on experience)

 So, what's the role about then? 

You will be responsible for implementing category growth strategies which ultimately drive sales and profit for our client, executing best in category management to ensure delivery against retail initiatives. It will be your job to understand relevant growth drivers within a retailer, as well as build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, internally and externally. You will manage direct reports and wider cross functional teams, enabling knowledge and expertise transfer that drives the category. It's up to you to recommend in store actions aimed at strengthening the category and remain commercially aware of decisions at all times.


Job Requirement

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of developing and managing relationships at senior level. You will be degree educated and have a huge passion for achievement, as well as the integrity and desire to make things happen. Previous FMCG category/account management experience is essential, as is experience using Nielsen, Space Planning, IRI, Kantar or something similar.
