Full-time position Chef and Food Service Manager 36 hrs per week averaged over 8 weeks Manage, motivate and mentor a small team of kitchen staff Manage all day to day aspects of preparation and presentation of the food service offered to club members Prepare food to the highest standard of quality at all times Manage food ordering, stock control and carry out routine stocktakes Manage food waste through effective portion control and maintaining records To carry out instructions given by manager and adhere to Club policies and procedures Menu planning and pricing policy To keep the kitchen clean, tidy and hygienic at all times To communicate effectively with staff and customers and demonstrate a helpful attitude at all times Actively seek and identify opportunities for business growth Responsible for health and safety and food safety aspects within your area of responsibility To plan and manage functions Liaise with customers ensuring their requirements are delivered in line with Be involved and contribute to team meetings To attend weekly/monthly meetings with Club Management Staff. Carry out any other duties and tasks that you might reasonably be expected to undertake.
