Food and Beverage Manager Our client is a busy 4 star hotel in Windsor. The hotel has over 130 bedrooms, busy brasserie style restaurant and lounge bar as well as great conference facilities. It is also a popular location for weddings and private dining. We are currently recruiting for experienced hotel Food and Beverage Manager with a good knowledge of wines & spirits & a passion for fresh, quality food; together with a desire to deliver excellent levels of service to lead the hotels F & B teams in all the F&B outlets. As Food and Beverage Manager you will improve operating standards in all F & B departments, ensuring consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction. The ideal Food and Beverage Manager will have the following- 3-4 year's experience in F & B service management in quality hotels and the ability to display excellent guest care skills Operational experience in all F & B departments including Events & Weddings with a good knowledge of wines & spirits & a passion for fresh, quality food Good financial awareness with a full understanding of Food & Beverage revenue streams & controls, including Micros POS Self-motivation and drive- and be able to motivate others to achieve The ability to implement standards, policies and procedures and to police them. Proven man-management, coaching and team building skills Good understanding of all applicable Health & Safety legislation Good presentation with an outgoing personality, excellent interpersonal skills, a professional manner and excellent command of written & spoken English with good IT skills A Degree/Diploma or NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Hospitality Training skills eg. PTC, GTT Personal License holder certificate Food Safety Level 3 Certificate Sales / Financial Awareness/Interviewing/Appraisal skills This is a great opportunity for an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to work with a great hotel and management team where no two days are the same.
