Drayton Manor hotel is a 150 bedroomed hotel with F&B and Conference Facilities, sleepers are as high as 450 per night in peak season. We are located next to the Theme Park and look after both corporate guests and families. We are open all year round and have become renowned for our Thomas bedrooms. Built in 2011, the hotel has 150 bedrooms. As Food and Beverage Manager you will be responsible for the operational delivery of our Hospitality suites and onsite restaurant ?The Grill Inn.? You will also contribute towards the overall achievement of business goals, supporting the wider F&B business including the hotel and park operational teams when required. On a day to day basis you?ll lead the operational teams, ensuring that our guests receive the highest possible standard of service. It?s up to you and the team to make it happen on the day so that our customers have a simply perfect experience that is truly memorable The F&B Manager will contribute to the profitability of the business through the monitoring of revenue and budgets, management of the team and maintaining effective controls around costs whilst creating an environment where the team are motivated and encouraged to maximize sales. Who are we looking for? ? the successful applicant will have; -Strong background in conference and event operations at management level (min. 12 months). -Experience of managing and developing a large team across multiple outlets would be advantageous. -Background in restaurant operations/management. -Strategic planner who can demonstrate experience of managing a project from creation to completion. -Financially astute (P&L/Forecasts/Budgets) experience in previous roles essential. -Experience of report writing and presentation skills. -A history of developing, implementing and reviewing standards.
