Our client runs one of Surrey's leading Golf and Wedding and Events venues. Running over 85 weddings a year they are currently looking for an a front of house focussed F&B manager to drive the club to greater success. PURPOSE: To provide a service to members, guests & visitors that exceeds their expectations. To directly assist in maintaining and developing the business levels and profitability of all food & beverage areas whilst adhering to company policies and procedures, ensuring total customer satisfaction. REPORTING TO: General Manager & Hospitality Operations Manager. RESPONSIBLE FOR: All front of house staff within the Food & Beverage department. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: In assistance and under the guidance of the Hospitality Operations Manager. ·Organise all staff requirements for front-of-house duties whilst on shift. ·Plan and organise the set up of all events, conferences and functions whilst on shift. ·To be a role model for junior staff in terms of attitude work ethic, service and knowledge. ·To be responsible for the running of events, functions and daily bar at all times. ·To ensure that all customers are satisfied with the function or event, dealing with special requests, issues and complaints if and as they arise. ·Ensure that customers are served in the correct manner by professional and friendly staff. ·Assist in the service at all times within the F&B Department as requested. ·Outline procedures for stock rotation and organisation of bar and cellar. ·Maintain an inventory of light equipment, including crockery, cutlery, glassware and linen. ·To liaise with the General Manager as to the implementation and enforcement of all appropriate rules and operating procedures. ·To be aware of and keep up to date with all sales and marketing incentives that the club may be running at any given time. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of 1 F&B management experience within a large multi use facility. You must have experience of delivering Conference and Banqueting functions on a large scale. Ideally we are looking for a focussed, driven hospitality professional who is looking for an exciting career within a progressive leisure and events business.
