Lowndes Bar & Kitchen offers guests all-day dining from its modern British menu in a relaxed and comfortable setting. About the job: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Food and Beverage Manager to join the F&B Department in Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of the role are: As Head of Department to ensure a smooth, efficient and high service focused operation where the satisfaction of all guests is paramount. To work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to enrich culinary offerings and broaden service enhancements Communicate the detail of the menu and celebrating our philosophy to all guests. Work alongside sales and marketing to design and roll out promotions to raise our F&B profile and drive revenue To ensure that all operating standards comply with the company and hotel policies, procedures, and minimum standards. To drive efficient quality control of the delivery of all restaurant items. Manage, motivate and develop all restaurant and bar staff to achieve highest levels of service excellence as well as highly positive staff relations. Engage and build relationships with staff, regular guests, first time guests, residents and non- residents. Ensure all guest ?Patron Profile? files are recorded, amended, up to date and communicated to all staff members. Visibly present on the floor during service to serve guests efficiently and consistently as well as monitoring all staff. Be aware of the restaurant and hotel policies including licensing laws in regards to the service of wine and spirits.
