Due to business growth and career development a Food & Beverage Manager is required at Bunchrew House Hotel near Inverness, Highlands & Islands ? an award winning 17th century Baronial Mansion standing in 20 acres beside the Beauly Firth. Bunchrew House Hotel - 2019 MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland We are looking for a senior team member reporting directly to the General Manager with a modern approach to hospitality and customer service. The hotel is a 16 bedroom, 4 star country house hotel with 2 AA Rosettes, well known for its Highland hospitality. The hotel is privately owned as part of a hotel group of Scottish Highland hotels. You will have a track record of delivering consistency in service and standards. You will be used to managing a small team whilst achieving key departmental business targets. Candidates who have not yet reached departmental management level will be considered if they can demonstrate significant relevant experience. As Food & Beverage Manager your department is the first and last impression that a guest has of the hotel, so it?s your job to ensure it?s a good one. Ensure your service team are well-trained, friendly and offer a warm welcome and attentive check-in and check-out service for guests. Key Responsibilities: · Managing, recruit, train and develop the service team · Ensuring the team provides a professional and friendly service for customers · Reviewing and amending the standard of procedures in terms of food and beverage and customer service · Dealing with customers, including in person, by email or by telephone ensuring that they experience the highest level of customer service · Monitor guest feedback with an approach to continual improvement · Scheduling the rota according to demand of business · Promoting effective relationships with the team and between departments The job entails a major focus on delivering consistency in customer service and standards.
