Role As part of a brand new multi-site hospitality related project venture, my client has an exceptional role has arisen for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager who has key experience within the hotel/hospitality sector. This role form parts of the Management Committee. If you are great with people and maintain high standards in all that you do then read on Duties & Responsibilities The Food & Beverage Manager reports to the Culinary Director and has a reporting and close working relationship with the Head Chef for the effective and efficient running of the Catering service Is practised in Food Service procedures; she/he manages the department and sub-contractors in accordance with the various agreements. Manages the deployment and operation of a team of highly trained, friendly Food Service staff such that guests are consistently satisfied with the Food Service. Ensures that all team members are knowledgeable as to the requirements of the relevant S.O.Ps (Standard Operating Procedures), providing support to colleagues to maintain the defined standards. Practiced in customer and employee relations, contributing to the successful running of the Campus, and the satisfaction of those who work in it, consistent with that success. Working with colleagues at all levels to deliver a consistent level of quality service. You will approve the Organisational Structure and Manning Levels for your department and hire the key positions as scheduled You will manage the approved ?pre-opening budget? for your department accordingly Accountable for implementing the business strategies and initiatives throughout all aspects of the Food Services Department. Lead the Food Services Department which includes the following Departments: Restaurants & Bars and Events Develop and execute the monthly, quarterly and yearly Food Services promotional plan to maximize revenue, actively seeking opportunities to increase sales and guest utilization My client is looking for a candidate that has rolled up their sleeves and worked their way up from the bottom and has great people skills.
