Food Production Operative Working as a fresh food production operative you will be working as part of a team working at an ambient and chilled temperature. The job of a production operative is a fast paced environment where you will be working in a small team the work is repetitive and some lifting will be involved, some of the duties will include but not limited to. Checking and weighing raw materials. Ensuring that machine settings are correct. Maintaining a clean production environment. Running quality checks on, for example, the size and weight of the finished product. Assembling, packaging and labelling. Packing fresh olives into jars and containers Pallet stacking A food production operative needs to: Be able to follow written and spoken instructions, and production schedules. Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements. Have good powers of concentration and observation. Be able to pay attention to detail even when tasks are repetitive. Be able to act quickly when a problem arises. Have numeracy and literacy skills. Be able to work as part of a team. We are looking for 10 food production operatives to cover 2 shifts either 7am - 16.00 or 12.00 - 22.00 We are looking for candidates that have a genuine interest in working within a food production environment our client offers ongoing training and an opportunity to progress within the company. For the right candidate there is a strong possibility of this being a Temp to Perm position with a yearly salary of £20,280 per annum.
