Location; Leek, ST13 Remuneration; Day Shift - £8.35 Night Shift - £9.12 Working hours; 6:00 ? 14:00; 14:00 ? 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00 Holidays; 28 days Details; Leading employment business Gap Personnel are currently looking for food Production Operatives to work for our highly regarded client based in Leek. Our client is one of the leading suppliers of high quality nutrition ingredients to leading food manufacturers and entrepreneurial brand owners across the UK, Europe and global food industry. They also specialise in dry powder blending and are part a large group - a leading agri-food commercial co-operative. We are currently looking for Packers/ Production Operatives to join this fantastic working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys food production work and is looking for a new challenge as well as wishing to enhance their skills. We provide a full induction ahead of the start day and PPE is provided where required. Daily duties and responsibilities : · Be fully involved in the mixing and production process and ensure high quality at all times, · Packing products within a timely manner, · Operate machinery, · Label and stack pallets, · Clean the production area when needed, · Adhere to all H&S as well as Food Hygiene procedures, · Conduct other duties as and when required by the Manager. The candidate; · Preferably will have previous experience in a similar role, however full training will be provided, · Must be able to multi-skill, be flexible, hardworking and have attention to detail, · Must be able to work on all available shifts, · Must be able to maintain excellent timekeeping and attendance record. · Able to work on their own initiative and follow instructions.
