Our client is leading manufacturer within its field. Due to their continued growth they are looking for an Experienced Field Sales Manager to join the business. Location: Newport Area- 1 day in office - 4 days on customer visits Duration: Permanent Salary: £65,0000 plus bonus and benefits Role/Responsibilities: Develop and negotiate with customers that enables excellent execution of your plan. Develop new relationships with foodservice within your defined area of responsibility and unlock new opportunities Be the key point of contact for building relationships with sales and leadership teams and unlocking volume and distribution growth through telesales activity and key account development. To be accountable for deployment of the point of purchase plan and outlet-level execution plan delivering against key performance measures. To build a collaborative, cross functional network to maximise the performance of your business area and unlock further new business opportunities. To ensure that high quality preparation is completed prior to your customer meetings and that customer meetings are appropriately structured and run, in order to maximise business opportunities. To pro-actively track performance of your account(s) understanding the key drivers of the performance and working closely with the business and the Planning & Execution team to implement corrective action to deliver against the P&L target and strategic plan. Skills/Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills to enable strong relationship building Ability to 'inspire' a diverse range of stakeholders and build trust through strong relationships Experience with dyes and dehyadrated ingredients Highly developed ability to assess customers business needs and compellingly articulate opportunities identified Ability to use own initiative and solve problems creatively Commercial acumen Excellent organisational and time management skills to ensure all opportunities are exploited - both self-generated and Channel or colleague identified Due to the high volume of enquiries that we receive, we are not always able to respond to all CVs.
