An opportunity to build develop a new channel in foodservice and to manage and develop a team. This is a unique opportunity to work for a major European food group within fresh and frozen food solutions but he part of a small close knit UK team that are delivering innovative products to UK and Irish customers. The business sell to the industrial B2B channel and UK retail, however this role is specifically will focus on Foodservice sectors including contract catering, casual dining and pub chains, hotels and travel. This role will work closely with the Managing Director to scope the Foodservice channel, identify target customers for new business development as well as work with existing accounts. The role will have one direct report but essentially will be a hands on sales position with the objective of building business opportunities with Foodservice customers. To be successful in this role you will Have current working experience within a chilled or frozen food manufacturing business. Meat or produce would be highly advantageous. A proven track record of developing new business opportunities within Foodservice accounts National account experience with customers across Casual Dining, QSR, Travel & Airlines & Contract Catering.
