Job description: Manager, Health and Safety - Milton Keynes Cold Drink Operations Permanent Competitive Salary Bonus Company Car I Phone Laptop Pension Plan Health Care What you become part of: Our Milton Keynes Cold Drink Operations Centre is responsible for the purchase, distribution and refurbishment of all our cold drink equipment throughout GB. Every cooler; vending machine and dispensing equipment comes from here. The Centre is also home to our Contact Centre which is a 364 days a year, 7 days a week operation to support with calls ranging from equipment service requests, new business enquiries and machine movements as well as internal support for our Field Engineering Team and New Business Team. The Telefix team is also based here, offering over the phone support to our customers to help get their equipment functioning. What to expect: In this role you will provide health and safety expertise and lead implementation of Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) health, safety and wellbeing initiatives, policies and standards to ensure Cold Drink Operations (CDO) safe working environment and engagement of safety. Key responsibilities include: Drive a zero accident culture across the organisation Ensure business? compliance with the regulatory and statutory requirements Implement CCEP Policies and standards into detailed working practices across the CDO Health and Safety management control systems at the site and across the field Drive implementation of the CDO Safety First Programme Ensure alignment across European operations on safety best practise Define the standards for Health and Safety risk assessments to be completed within CDO on the job to ensure hazards are recognised and controlled Define the standards for Health and Safety and drive continuous improvement projects to improve performance Support Q&E team in delivering environmental agenda Ensure health surveillance is planned and managed in line with CCEP and legal requirements Coach teams through Health and Safety related incident investigations to ensure there is no risk to people Lead the CDO in delivery of the H&S plans and compliance requirements Support the Q&E Professional in ensuring site compliance to OHSAS 18001 Active involvement in reduction of risk through continual improvement Manage agreed budgets and report performance Undertake internal and external audits as per schedule Create a culture of effective cross-functional and flexible working within CDO Support and develop the performance of individual team members utilising performance management tools and techniques including the disciplinary and grievance procedures Skills & Essentials: Minimum NEBOSH Diploma Health and Safety practitioner in a sizable, multi-function operational site with a number of risks and hazards Experience of driving cultural/behavioural change in safety Ideally with experience from a field based organisation Able to travel within the UK Eligible to work in the UK We believe that equal opportunities means inclusion, diversity and fair treatment for all.
