About our Client: Our client is a leading food service provider and specialises in a variety of food categories. They supply national accounts through pub groups, restaurants, casual dining and out of home channels as well as retailers. They have a dedicated team of passionate foodies who are constantly developing new and exciting products for their customers. The business is all about building long term relationships with it's customers and to deliver the very best bespoke food solutions. About the Job: This role is all about delivering account growth with customers. You will utilise you experience in managing food service accounts to deliver great service and account growth. You will be able to help the customers forecast and drive sales forwards whilst also minimising any waste. You will be able to work at real pace and be comfortable communicating with your accounts regularly, working together to solve any potential issues before they arise. You will understand what goes into serving your customers from an operational perspective and be able to work closely with internal teams to deliver the best possible solutions for your customers and the business. You will use your can-do attitude and relationship management skills to look for opportunities for account growth in every meeting, and then deliver the required work to exceed targets. You will be able to look for new business opportunities and manage your own diary to make the most of your time. The Ideal Candidate: As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have a proven track record of delivering account growth and increased sales in the food service sector - within restaurant customers ideally. You will be hungry and driven to progress your own skills and your career. You will be able to communicate clearly at all levels and be able to influence internal and external stakeholders. You will understand the complexity of the food service supply chain and be able to work at pace. Ideally, you will have experience in short shelf life, fresh, chilled foods, but this is not a must have. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in a commercial account management role within the food service channel - profit sector is preferable. You will need to show a desire and hunger to progress yourself and the accounts you manage. You will be flexible and able to travel as required. Salary: As a guide the role will likely sit in the £35k - £45k salary bracket with a bonus car etc. Application Process: The successful candidate will move through two stages of interviews, with the second likely to include a presentation or task.
