My client is a well-known and highly progressive international fashion retailer based out of the UK and ROI. They are exploring new ways to enhance their customer experience in-store by providing exciting new dining and socialising options across their network of outlets globally. This is a senior role with a huge amount of creative bandwidth and incredible resources to really explore and realise new concepts and lots of exciting collaborations. My client wants to reflect the most current fashion, culture and retail trends in their F&B offerings and this role will drive licence collaborations with major global brands. The role will work across all channels within the business and focus on creating new F&B concepts, responsible for in-store outlet design, menus creation, look & feel, pricing & positioning. This role will be with ahead of the curve on what?s hot right now/tomorrow and completely in-tune with social media influencers and trend channels. Sustainability and local sourcing are also key to my client's F&B objectives and this role will be expected to research and develop partnerships with local suppliers in all locations. Purpose of Role:You will investigate, plan and lead new business development projects to provide strategic insight in order to grow customer footfall, enhance customer offering and to develop partner agreements that ensure the best possible use is made of commercial space and revenues are maximised. This is a key role for my client as they look to maximise opportunities for growth and this role will enable the right candidate to play an integral part in the continued expansion of the business. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Business Development:Work closely with the Director of New Business Development to deliver the overall business proposition and strategic plan for growth. Support current and future planned F&B business development activities by identifying, qualifying and quantifying opportunities to increase business within the projects and with the F&B Operations Manager recommend action plans. Ensure new and future market trends and developments are always fashionable and relevant in the marketplace. Identify key decision makers and influencers in target companies through networking and keeping up to date with competitors and changes within the marketplace Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to generate new business Ensure all activities are aligned with my client's sustainability agenda. Projects: Develop, maintain and improve, in conjunction with the F&B Operations Manager current offering in existing stores. Review the offer in detail and propose further improvements, changes or new offers that could be rolled further around the estate to offer the services to a wider customer base. Keep up-to-date with the current market trends and demands and look to develop the offer accordingly. Ensure menu items and tariffs are compelling in terms of innovation, value and relevant to my client's core customer. Business Engagement: Build relationships with new and existing business partners to maximise the revenue stream, ensuring focus is always on customer service, operational standards and financial performance. Understand what is important to their business so that meaningful relationships can be developed. Be the business representative to potential partners in different countries internationally and take ownership of customer issues and use initiative when problem solving Provide support to cross functional teams in developing business plans, budgets, product plans, pricing plans and marketing plans as required Work closely with Retail teams to ensure space, programme and measures of success are clearly articulated and delivered. Maintain strong relationships with Procurement and Legal to assist in the negotiation of new commercial agreements when required Skills/Knowledge/Experience: We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 3 years? commercial experience, within a retail environment Candidates must have a background in Food & Beverage You will have ideally gained your experience in Retail, showing your ability to thrive in a busy, demanding environment with a heavy project based work load Previous experience working on innovative and creative projects You will have strong commercial awareness with ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge of wider business factors, and be confident in your ability to negotiate. Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business.
