Are you an experienced QA Manager with experience within food manufacturing? Do you have HACCP and a proven background in BRC audits?If so, read on ? What?s the Job? With responsibility for ensuring the Quality Department functions effectively and efficiently, duties will include: Working across relevant departments ensuring products and services are supplied to agreed timescales and comply with relevant technical / legal standards Review, develop and improve quality management systems Manage a team of QA Technicians Drive improvements Development excellent relationships with both internal and external customers Maintain accurate records of all quality paperwork Support and provide cover for the Technical Manager as required What experience do you need? You?ll already be working as a QA Manager within the food industry, you will also need: Extensive knowledge of food safety compliance procedures and relevant legislation HCCAP Level 2 Basic Food Safety knowledge Experience of conducting internal audits and inspections Experience of BRC audits and maintaining AA standard Participate in retailer or 3rd party audits Be able to demonstrate initiative and drive to change High level of integrity and good objective decision making skills Effective supervisory skills Good IT skills Superb communication skills What are the pay and benefits? An excellent salary is on offer for this role, benefits include parking and pension; hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 7.30am to 3pm on Fridays.Holidays are 29 days including bank holidays.
