Our Client is a speciality supplier and manufacturer of raw materials to the UK Chemical, Food & Pharmaceutical Industries. They are now seeking a Quality Control Coordinator. This position will be based in Redditch, Worcestershire. The position is a Part-Time Permanent Role (3 days per week) reporting to the Quality Control Manager. Job Purpose Works closely with the Quality Control Manager to control the quality of products developed, manufactured, purchased and sold by the company Prepares documentation requested by customers Responsible, together with the Quality Control Manager, for approving supplied products. Key Responsibilities Ensuring customer certificates of analysis meet specification and converting into our Clients certificates as appropriate. Preparing customer specifications Completing customer questionnaires including, but not limited to, those relating to Quality, Raw Material Ingredients, COSMOS, Suppliers Preparing Regulatory statements, including but not limited to BSE/TSE, GMO, vegan, animal testing, kosher, allergens Collating information for KPIs relating to certificates of analysis, specifications and questionnaires Qualifications and Experience Knowledge of the sciences by education or experience Practical experience of Quality Control in a chemical, food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Understanding of the sensitivities associated with a commercial sales operation Attention to detail Ability to learn and communicate in an operational environment In return, our Client is offering a basic part-time salary of £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (for three days per week) plus benefits.
