What you?ll doAt Gousto the total Food team are responsible for concepting all ideas, creating the recipes in the kitchen, planning the menus and shooting and styling all food assets. As a key member of the Food team you will: Lead a small team responsible for planning our weekly menus, ensuring we optimise variety and find new ways to support the menu through suggesting online merchandising. Day to day total management of the menu budget, supporting our ability to trade our menu. Responsible for trading our recipe mix to drive maximum uptake whilst also driving total revenue of boxes. Manage the Gousto Recipe library, strategically utilising this to its full extent. ?Make it Happen? working with teams including marketing, operations ,digital products, finance and analytics to find solutions to complex problems which we and our customer care deeply about, such as improving NPS variety detractors through the use of our menu analytics. To continue to launch the best possible menus every week. Supporting the build of the food strategy to optimise the creation of menus to ensure we can plan ahead yet remain agile. Continuous review of our systems to allow for menu changes which allow for commercial and practical needs of the business e.g. seasonal produce quality issues.Challenge teams to make sure our propositions move the needle on KPIs and ensure menu prototypes are tested with customers across both physical and digital products. This includes supporting business tests but also identifying new tests to form long term strategy changes for our food menus. At times you will be asked to operate and proxy for the Food Director to ensure the growing team has full support across its areas of responsibilities. A wealth of experience in FMCG or consumer-focused digital product, with excellent performance track record of managing a team or driving business change through highly intuitive commercial methods.Have had experience in an online business with a good understanding of online merchandising. Highly numerate with broad commercial understanding and judgment is critical to be able to provide creative solutions and trade off costs versus quality. Able to quickly build and sustain strong working relationships across the organisation and collaborating to deliver projects. Ability to work in highly volatile and a fast-changing environment ? experience of working in a start-up/ scale-up/ high-growth business an advantage.Ability to lead a team and motivate others within a team.
