The recruitment department of the French Chamber is acting as a recruitment agency for its 610 member companies, one of which is currently looking for a Senior Commercial Manager. The company is a French company, global leader in fruit processing. They are the largest family owned French company, with their headquarters in SW France. Their products are sold in more than 100 countries and they have 25 factories worldwide. Their product range is varied with an array of bestselling famous brands within their international business. Reporting to the Sales Director, you?ll have hands on management and growth of one or a portfolio of retail accounts across chilled and ambient product categories and promote sales of the company Group product ranges both branded and own label. This is a full-time, permanent position based in London. Responsibilities and Duties: Professional management of a portfolio of customer accounts to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales. Representing the UK and wider Group?s portfolio of products across ambient and / or chilled categories. Formulate account strategies and plans to secure Company targets. To develop joint business plans with efficient and effective investment to support growth. Drive negotiations for new listings, price, promotions, distribution To manage the promotional budget. Development of exceptional multi level customer relationships across all departments. Be the account champion within the company. To proactively seek out new business opportunities and growth across branded and private label product development. To interrogate ongoing monthly performance, deliver clear insight and action to influence forward performance. To ensure accurate internal communication to supply team re promotions/ changes to distribution? and keep up to date customer files. Cross functional working with the company?s UK departments and develop a very good product knowledge. Qualifications and Skills: Minimum of 5 years national account sales experience. Ideally with knowledge of chilled supply chain and product development. Will consider broader entrepreneurial business owners with proven track record of success. Entrepreneurial self-starter who can set their own targets and efficiently organise work schedule. Proven track-record of meeting targets and objectives within existing accounts and developing new business. Strong financial/commercial understanding together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance and recommend action. Ability to build and sustain excellent relationships at all levels (internal and external). Comfortable managing large accounts with ability to develop strong and robust commercial relationships. Enthusiasm to chase new business and foresight to monitor upcoming tenders. Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
