The job
 
As Senior Quality Technician, the primary purpose of your role is to drive quality culture on site and ensure the site remains compliant to the requirements of the quality manual. You will provide all required technical support to enable factory areas to meet food safety and GMP standards and work with all departments to drive continuous improvement in the factory.
You will complete compliance audits and inspections to ensure standards are met at all times, undertake QA duties, including audits, customer complaints, non-conformances, release finished/raw and packaging materials, ensure close out of any issues relating to GMP or audit failures, promote training and support staff development.
 


Job Requirement

To be considered for the Senior Quality Technician role, you will be of a graduate calibre within a food science, food technology or related discipline. You will possess at least 5 years food manufacturing experience and at least 2 years within a senior QA or supervisory role. You will have experience in UK retailers and understand customer codes of practice and specific certification requirements e.g. RSPO, HALAAL, BRC requirements.

Job Benefits

The Senior Quality Technician role is based in the South Central / Home Counties region and is paying £27,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, office hours.
