Supervisory Roles Within Food Operations Our client is an established family owned business and leading supplier to UK retailers and the food service and wholesale sectors, they specialise in the supply and delivery of fresh exotic fruit and speciality vegetables. They are currently looking for highly talented individuals to join their exciting, fast paced Quality & Product Delivery department. You will have the training and support of a knowledgeable and highly experienced multi-skilled team to achieve their agreed short- and long-term goals and objectives. To be considered for a Supervisory position you will demonstrate the following key attributes: Educated to QCF Level 5/6 in an academic, food or process related discipline or QCF Level 3/4 with minimum 3 years continuous key worker experience in large scale fast paced short shelf life food business Intermediate working knowledge of ERP systems including Word and Excel. Ability to work with and motivate people for everyday repetitive tasks Operate in a change environment delivering customer satisfaction every day Fluency in English, both written and verbal. Additional languages to a verbal standard may be useful. Live within a reasonable commuting distance For a 7-day customer order cycle they operate full time hours of 5 on 2 off, 7am ? 5pm. During peak periods there is opportunity to enhance earnings through overtime which is all voluntary. Whilst they firmly encourage long standing opportunities within the department, alumni from their Quality & Product Delivery department have also enjoyed flourishing careers within commercial, technical, supply chain and finance, both within their business as well as other related large-scale food businesses or indeed grocers. Some individuals have even taken up exciting opportunities abroad within their supply value chains.
