Hain Daniels are recruiting a Supply Chain Planner who will be required to commute between the Grimsby and Peterborough sites. The role of Supply Chain Planner is responsible for but not limited to planning all daily production, raw materials ordering and purchasing for our Soup sites. In this role you will be required to plan and schedule production for our range of chilled soups using excel spread sheets and our movex system. The production facility has 7 production lines and a range of 30+ SKU’s in different pack formats. Strong relationships need to be formed with all of our customers to get the most accurate data in terms of demand and to manage the supply and meet our customer expectations with no waste. Lean materials planning to ensure 100% service to production with optimal stock levels to mitigate obsolescence and effectively manage change.
This is a split role where time will be spent between our Grimsby and Peterborough sites. There will be occasional travel to North Yorkshire to provide holiday cover for our Soup colleagues based at that site.
Investigating and resolving all invoice queries for raw materials/packaging procurement. Identifying the root cause for the query and taking corrective action to prevent the recurrence.
Reporting all daily/weekly KPI’s and ensuring all master data is kept up to date. Providing our Procurement team and suppliers with the latest forward forecast
