An experienced Technical Sales/Account Manager is required by our client, a growing business in the food sector. You will be covering both the Midlands and the North regions working with existing customers and bringing new ones on board, giving them full account management support and training. Specific duties include: Building relationships with existing technical account customers to ensure continuous sales improvement. Holding regular review meetings to focus on performance against SLA. Tender generation and communication. Contract and service level agreement negotiation. Preparing quotation and contract agreements. Active participation in product trials and development. Managing the collection of competitor market information relating to product ranges and pricing. Attending exhibitions, retail shows and corporate events within the sector. Supporting the technical team in developing new products and processes. You must have experience of working in an FMCG/food sales and/or business development role, have technical food sector knowledge and good IT skills. You will be an excellent communicator with strong relationship building and commercial skills together with being driven, professional and well organised.
