We are looking to recruit a Training & Development Coordinator within our Training Department who will play a key role in maintaining an efficient training team on the site. The site is operational 7 days a week from 6am – 6am therefore a flexible approach is a must to ensure that a consistent level of service is provided.
You will need to engage and influence your key stakeholders to ensure that training standards are actioned and best practice procedures are adhered to. Strong IT skills are essential as you will be responsible for the training system, ensuring all training is accurately recorded and employees training records maintained.
You will be responsible for all new starters ensuring they are inducted and receive the appropriate training identified to carry out their role as well as being a point of contact throughout this process. You will ensure the site is compliant with all mandatory training requirements, working closely with the SLT to ensure they are aware of any risks to site in relation to mandatory training and are taking positive action to support this. You will also contribute to the preparation of and participation in audits (both internal & external) and ensure the site has named and adequately trained 'shop floor' trainers with regular assessments taking place.
The role will also involve coordinating all training activity for the site (both external & Internal) and contributing to the preparation and management of the site training budget. Working with on-site recruitment agencies, you will also ensure through regular auditing that Functional skills Assessments and delivery of Group Inductions are consistent of the required standard and recorded.

Your high energy levels, excellent communications skills and enthusiasm for people development will be essential as will your motivation and resilience. You will hold a Professional Trainers Certificate, either;
Previous experience within a similar role is vital combined with effective communication and organisational skills. Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety in Manufacturing.
