A multi drop or Foodservice background is essential for the Transport Shift Manager position. The Package: £36,000 Company Pension scheme 25 days holiday Bank Holidays 08:00 - 17:30 or similar 5 days a week Full Benefits details available on application The Role: As Transport Shift Manager you will be overseeing a team of 50 drivers, supervisors, de briefers and Admin staff. You will be responsible for the running and compliance in-excess of 50 vehicles and 50 routes. You must ensure that they meet both company standards and VOSA requirements. It is the duty of the Transport Shift Manager to meet the SLA's agreed with customers and liasie as appropriate with seniors managers. You must run a cost efficient operation within company budget. All Health & Safety procedures must be adhered to and you must enforce company policies. You will be responsible for carry out disciplinary meetings as and when required. It is expected that the Transport Shift Manager sets and monitors KPI's to ensure all staff perform as expected. All documentation must be accurate.
