Moy Park, which supplies over sixty farms across Lincolnshire, have opened a state of the art hatchery which is the largest single-build hatchery in the UK and one of the first of its kind in Europe creating over 55 new jobs at the Newark site.

The business has installed cutting edge technology to set the best possible production, animal welfare, hygiene and biosecurity standards. Automation techniques and energy-efficient equipment have also been commissioned to reduce electrical energy across the site.

The investment at the Newark site forms part of Moy Park’s growth strategy which has seen the company invest heavily across its integrated farming and processing facilities in the UK.
The group currently processes close to 5.7m birds per week, cementing their position as one of the biggest poultry producers in the UK.
